Valley Oak Elementary was invited to attend the Fresno State University men’s basketball International night on Wednesday, December 13th at the Save Mart Center. The students were invited down on the court. The students attending represent not only our student body as a whole, but our SPECTRUM group and our basketball teams. SPECTRUM stands for Students and Principal Embrace Cultures Together, Reaching for Understanding and Meaning. This group was created on the Valley Oak Elementary campus to educate students on the rich diversity that exists, not only on our own campus, but in our community. With us this evening are students representing SPECTRUM AND Valley Oak Elementary, which is located in Clovis Unified.
