Buchanan High held a ceremony to honor and remember the events of and lives lost on September 11, 2001. The ceremony included a speech from Principal Omar Hemaidan, students singing the National Anthem and God Bless America, presentation of colors by current servicemen, and a presentation of 8 wreaths to honor the lives of 8 Buchanan alumni who served in the military shortly after the events of 9/11.
