Two-time Olympian and Silver Medalist -- and former Mickey Cox Elementary student! -- Jenna Prandini visited her old elementary school and others in the Clovis High area this week to share with students a picture book she's been working on called "Clovis on Tour."
The track star encouraged students to pursue their goals and never give up, even when feeling nervous about trying something new. She and book author Susie Harder then discussed the new book that's about the history and landmarks of Clovis, and features Jenna acting as the tour guide! As a surprise, every classroom received a copy of the book, as well as the school library!
Prandini is a Clovis High alum who won a Silver Medal in the Women's 4x100 Relay in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and also competed in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
